Vitex Cascading Deck
Another low concrete patio now a level and inviting deck. This one has been finished with Vitex that cascades off the end.
Sunlit Pergola and Deck
This property had a yard that was uninviting and difficult to entertain in. Now its a great place that you can step out on to the level entry decked area with built in bench seating and corner table.
A bright pergola shades the deck in summer and keeps it dry in winter, making this a great spot year round.
The gap between the yard dropping off and the fence is now retained making it to be the perfect in ground planter.

The Secret Wardrobe - Narnia
The client had an odd shaped bedroom (L-shaped angled roof) and wanted a secret wardrobe with the Narnia theme for her young daughter.
Hobsonville Point Spa Retreat
This area went from a cold dark unused concrete courtyard caught in the shadows of two houses to a beautiful spa retreat. We created a level deck that flowed out from the sliding doors to a large plinth planter housing some NZ native plants. The natural colour of the NZ pine decking and the green of the ferns and grasses brighten up this space while the black stain of the planters is a nice contrast that also brings in the colour of the house.
New Fence and Landscaping at Henderson Property
New fence placement with the old cracked concrete path removed. This was replaced with new top soil (grass just starting to sprout) and new garden beds with decorative river pebbles.

Very old rotten window. The whole window had to be removed and a new one built to size. After photo shows new treated timber with edges primed ready for glass then to be painted.
Mission Bay New Build - Decking
Shadow deck. This deck was built by Ben Willemse Carpentry and Landscaping as part of a new build in Mission Bay. It was constructed with Vitex timber and screwed down unseen from the sides with stainless screws.
